The King George Redevelopment Project has breathed new life into the historic King George Hotel, originally established in 1911. The extensive transformation has reimagined the former hotel into a dynamic mixed-use building of retail spaces, offices, and luxurious condominiums.
Revitalizing this iconic property posed various challenges, including navigating building code requirements and implementing complex structural enhancements amidst a challenging economic construction landscape. Through a collaborative effort with Meridian Development, aodbt successfully revitalized the King George Condominium, integrating innovative design concepts and environmentally sustainable technologies, ultimately earning the building a prestigious Heritage Award.
The building features unique floor plans, full and French balconies, and an expansive rooftop deck reminiscent of Parisian style, complete with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen. Today, the King George stands as a modern, elegant place to call home once again.
