Our Prince Albert Office is an open-concept office with reception, a large boardroom, offices, open workstations, a design library, and a staff room. The architecture and design studio displays an ‘open doors’ aesthetic for staff members, where clients are invited to experience the studio layout.
The original architectural elements of the 60-year-old building are purposefully highlighted throughout the office. These elements include brick walls, steel trusses, and glass block windows which were uncovered during the demolition. In keeping with the historic downtown location on Central Avenue, the design cohesively combined the existing structure with modern design elements such as full-height glass partitions and sleek tile floors.
Modern furniture, lighting, finish materials, and wall graphics have been carefully chosen to complement the original structure and create a workspace that is bright, contemporary, welcoming, and inspiring. A comprehensive branding strategy was also employed, integrating the design firm’s corporate logo into the space.
