Louis brings over 30 years of experience in architecture and building design, having practiced in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. His extensive experience covers a diverse range of projects which include: institutional; civic; educational; mixed-use; transportation; corporate commercial; science and technology; process facilities; multi-family residential; and value analysis, all varying in scope and scale. Louis returned to Saskatchewan in 2010 and rejoined aodbt as a partner. Prior to this, he had acquired over 14 years of valuable project experience working with two of the largest architectural practices in Calgary.

As a registered architect with a background in architectural-engineering technology, Louis excels in effectively communicating ideas to clients, skillfully bridging the realms of aesthetics and technical systems within buildings. His unique skill set allows him to identify synergies among the many building systems, maximizing value for clients. Louis is adept at managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams and facilitating high-value outcomes for his clients. He approaches each project with innovation and integration, fostering long-lasting relationships with clients and contractors. He believes in an inclusive and thoughtful process, where engaging clients and all project stakeholders in early conversations, is fundamental to achieving success and improving our communities and built environment through the work we do.

Louis is currently the President for the Saskatchewan Association of Architects. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee at the City of Saskatoon.

With over a decade of experience as a registered architect, Leif has demonstrated expertise in planning, designing, and managing diverse projects across institutional, commercial, educational, recreational, healthcare, and residential sectors. After working in Vancouver for six years, Leif returned to Saskatoon and joined aodbt in 2016. In a testament to his contributions and capabilities, he became a partner in November 2019.

Leif places significant emphasis on fostering an authentic collaborative process that actively engages clients in both the design and planning stages. His commitment extends to ensuring the high-quality design of every project, from its initial concept through the construction process. Leif demonstrates a proven ability to rationalize complex design challenges into clear and simple architectural solutions.

Leif holds the designation of a Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification (RHFAC) Professional, highlighting his commitment to designing inclusive and accessible spaces. Additionally, he continues to be invested with the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) International and is currently serving as President of the local Saskatchewan Chapter.

With over a decade of experience in professional accounting and finance, Lynnzi possesses a wealth of expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. She has been an integral part of aodbt since 2009, and her knowledge and skills led to her becoming a partner in 2017. As a key member of the leadership team, Lynnzi oversees the financial functions of the firm, guiding operations in accounting, administration, contracts, and human resources.

Leveraging her expertise in information gathering, developing benefit-cost analyses, and evaluating the long-term financial viability of potential projects, Lynnzi actively contributes to various feasibility studies. She is recognized for her attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Currently, Lynnzi serves as the Chair of the Board of Sask Central Victim Services.

Dallas, with training as an Architect and a background in Architecture and Building Technologies, possesses a unique blend of excellent client skills, design focus, and technical expertise. He is recognized for his close collaboration with clients to create memorable experiences through thoughtful design. Dallas is an enthusiastic and motivated architect who builds trust through actively listening to his clients and offering unique and innovative solutions.

Dallas joined aodbt in 2002 and became a partner of aodbt in 2007. As a registered architect and principal with over 20 years of experience, Dallas has led multidisciplinary teams in the design and development of a wide range of healthcare, educational, recreational, institutional, corporate commercial, and residential projects. Dallas fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and excellence in every project and team he engages with. His personable approach and friendly demeanour encourage collaborative discussions and creative design exchanges.

Jason, a principal and partner at aodbt, has over 15 years of diverse experience spanning educational, healthcare, recreational, institutional, mixed-use, corporate commercial, multi-family residential, and cultural projects in Saskatchewan, Calgary, Montreal, London, Melbourne, New York, and San Francisco. His passion for design is evident in his collaborative approach, prioritizing understanding project goals, stakeholder needs, and client visions. He has an intuitive design sense resulting in functional, creative solutions.

Jason’s deep roots in Northern Saskatchewan reflect his profound connection to the beauty of the Canadian landscape. As a member of the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan, he possesses an inherent understanding of Indigenous culture and demonstrates a key sensitivity in collaborating with Indigenous communities, leaders, and representatives of other marginalized groups. Jason excels in leading engagement sessions with large, diverse client groups, adeptly connecting with them to ensure that all voices are not only heard but also respected. He believes that the most successful spaces and places are nurtured through active listening to clients and stakeholders, fostering a spirit of openness and cooperation.

Mitch is a Principal and Managing Partner at aodbt, with over 20 years of academic and professional experience as a project manager and professional engineer. He joined aodbt in 2008, became a partner in 2010, and was appointed the firm’s Managing Partner in 2015. Mitch divides his time between overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations, engaging in business development, and managing projects. With expertise in strategy, stakeholder engagement, and big-picture thinking, his diverse background and strong communication skills enable him to excel in various capacities. Known for his straightforward approach, Mitch prioritizes honesty with clients and fosters an environment where the aodbt team can succeed daily.

Mitch thrives in leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. His leadership style recognizes the value of fostering collaborative and engaging team environments to develop successful working partnerships. With expertise in feasibility studies, site analysis, and various project delivery methodologies, he contributes to a diverse range of projects at various scales.

As a principal and partner at aodbt, Lyndon leads the construction contract administration team. With over 25 years of experience as an architectural technologist, general contractor, and construction contract administrator, Lyndon brings extensive expertise to his role. His strong technical skills and knowledge of the current construction industry give him credibility. Having worked extensively in the construction field in Saskatchewan, Lyndon possesses a deep understanding of the local construction market and industry, as well as trusted design and detailing solutions tailored to the skills of the local construction force. Additionally, he is well-versed in the impact of the climate on structures on the Prairies.

Lyndon plays a crucial role on the construction site, overseeing quality control and ensuring adherence to standards. He is adept at addressing challenges professionally and is known for his practical thinking and open-minded approach to issues. His attention to detail and collaborative approach with clients and contractors ensure that design intent is realized through the construction documents into the built environment. He is committed to keeping projects on schedule and within budget while prioritizing the client’s best interests.

Lyndon actively engages with construction associations across the province, attending lectures, conferences, and volunteering for board positions, demonstrating his dedication to professional development and industry involvement.

Nicole is the Principal Interior Designer at our Saskatoon studio, where she provides leadership to the interior design team at aodbt. Having joined the firm in 2006, she has been a partner of the firm since 2010. Nicole has a diverse portfolio spanning educational, healthcare, institutional, corporate commercial, multi-family residential, and hospitality projects. Her commitment to design excellence and attention to detail are evident in every project she is engaged with.

Central to Nicole’s role is the management of multiple projects while ensuring seamless continuity with client groups from initial introductions to project completion. She prioritizes originality, design excellence, and personalized client service; she is diligent about building trust by actively listening to clients and offering innovative solutions tailored to their needs. Nicole’s engaging communication style, passion, and dedication to her work assure clients that she is always focused on creating exceptional environments that deliver on their objectives.

Beyond her role at aodbt, Nicole contributes her expertise as a registered member of the Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan (IDAS) and volunteers on the Exam Development Committee for the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ). Additionally, she is involved with Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan (WESK), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, and the organizing committee for “Singing with the Stars” – a fundraiser in support of Mental Health services in Saskatchewan.
